Quick Response Announces Major Acquisition
Cleveland, OH —The Quick Response Monitoring Alarm Center has acquired the assets of Ohio Alarm, Inc. dba American Response Center of Euclid, Ohio.
The merging of Quick Response and ARC combines the two largest wholesale alarm monitoring operations in Ohio into one company that will provide additional services and products to a combined customer base.
"Our goal is to integrate both organizations into one cohesive unit over an extended period of time," says Jeff Cohen, President of Quick Response. "Often when Central Stations merge, it is an abrupt integration. In that rush services are disturbed and customers become nervous. We don't intend to do that since many of our past customer gains have been the result of disenchanted customers of an awkward or hasty transition. This integration will be a slow almost imperceptible process, so when the customer asks when the merger will begin, we would like to be able to say: months ago."
Jim Osborne Sr., President of ARC says, "As Jeff and I have agreed, the primary goal of this merger is to build a stronger organization and provide the services and support the dealers need. By combining operations, we will be able to assume the best qualities and strengths of both companies, and provide a much more effective service package. I truly believe the merger and subsequent combining of management efforts will achieve this goal."
Quick Response and its parent company, U.S. Protective Services, have provided alarm monitoring services for over 40 years. Quick Response operates a UL Listed and CSAA 5-Diamond certified central station providing wholesale monitoring and additional services for more than 300 professional alarm dealers.
ARC, located in Euclid, Ohio has been in operation for almost 10 years, serving alarm dealers across the United States. The management of ARC has over 30 years of experience in the security industry.
